The ICPS Certificate in Counselling & Psychotherapy is an excellent introduction to the field, but it is not professional accreditation. In Ireland, further degree-level training and registration with a recognised body such as IACP, APCP, or ICP are required before you can practise as a counsellor or psychotherapist.
