Ms. Caroline Crotty
State of Mind Counselling & Psychotherapy is delighted to welcome Caroline Crotty to our team!
Originally from Tipperary and now based in Cork city, Caroline brings a wealth of academic training and therapeutic experience. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science from University College Cork, a Higher Diploma in Psychology from Dublin Business School, a Master of Arts in Counselling and Psychotherapy from NCPII, an MSc in Psychology from Mid Sweden University and a Master of Psychological Science from the University of Limerick.
Caroline works with adults and adolescents who may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty navigating life transitions. She offers a safe, compassionate space where people feel heard and supported to explore their experiences at their own pace.
Her integrative, evidence-informed approach is shaped by training in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), compassion-focused therapy (CFT), mindfulness-based approaches and solution-focused work.
Caroline is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) for adults and adolescents. Her work is grounded in psychological science and guided by each individual’s unique needs, strengths and goals.
Welcome to the team Caroline!
Mike 😊
