This programme draws on philosophical, psychological, sociological, and clinical perspectives to explore how individuals, families, and communities experience death and dying — and how therapeutic practitioners can offer meaningful support.

Programme Overview

The ten-module programme covers the history and sociology of death, dying and the dying process, palliative and end-of-life care frameworks, spiritual and cultural perspectives on death, working with the dying person, supporting families and carers, grief after a death, traumatic death, ethical considerations, and practitioner self-care. Sixty CPD credits are awarded on completion.
